we have been waiting for the weekend since monday! of course we will have to run a few errands and such but we're looking forward to relaxing on the beach. just me and husband, some yummy snacks, a good book, and the lovely ocean. cannot. wait.

and then when we get home i can make us a batch of fresh strawberry lemonade. {spiked with vodka, of course}. the sweetest strawberries from our farmers market and tasty lemons from the neighbors tree. it's the perfect summer cocktail. we had it at our wedding and it was a hit... can you tell? it's almost gone in the photo above. i wonder how many batches we went through that day ?
