one of my favorite things ever is to play out in the garden. plants and flowers can keep me busy for hours on end and really, i don't think there is anything more relaxing. well, aside from bellinis and mimosas poolside. or a day at the ocean. but, you know what i mean... i was going through my iphoto and stumbled on these pictures. i kinda forgot about them. these flowers are from what seems like ages ago... mother's day to be exact. i guess that kinda is ages ago. we were in the midst of last minute, crazy wedding preparations and i took a morning to visit the flower mart in downtown la. the pickings were slim and the prices were raised for the holiday but i thought these lovelies were sure to make the special ladies in our life smile. arranging them made me smile and also gave me the time i needed to relax {boy oh boy did i need to relax those last few weeks}. it was the most amazing calm feeling. i felt the same exact way when i arranged my wedding bouquet. what a nice little reminder these hurried snapshots turned out to be. which also reminds me that i need to share a few wedding pics. i'm so behind!
