andrew bush. vector portraits.

M+B is one of the coolest galleries around. i would like to check out this exhibit.

"Vector Portraits is Andrew Bush’s series from 1989 to 1997, shot in and around Los Angeles using his car as a tripod and capturing Angelenos vis-à-vis their unique relationships with their automobiles."

wouldn't it be fun to take photos like these? a few months ago we looked over at the car next to us and the driver was in full clown make-up and costume. he smiled, waved and sped off. it was funny and creepy and i wish i had taken a photo.

I love this series of photos. I often think of all the amazing portraits I've failed to capture on the road!
